Becky Dimock
Costuming! Pre-K, Kinder and Sub
Ms. Becky has been a technical writer since 1999, but her heart is in the arts. She's a firm believer that you're never too young (or old!) to learn how to sew, and you're never too old (or young!) to learn how to dance! She started sewing with her mom when she was a 7-year old Brownie scout, and never looked back! She started helping sew dance costumes when her daughters joined Riverfront Performing Arts in 2014, then when that studio closed, she spent COVID learning how to make tutus so the kids at the newly formed River Valley Dance had the beautiful costumes they deserved! She's thrilled to see the studio growing - and bringing more sewing help!
Becky always wanted to dance as a child, then when her daughters started dancing and there were adult classes available, she gathered up her courage and joined (be careful if you talk to her about it because she'll try to get you to join too!). She's been taking ballet and tap since 2015, and even took jazz classes for a couple of years.
